Sharing Research

We have finished our first research cycle.  Each research pair joined another research group to share the new facts learned from our nonfiction books.  The students really enjoyed getting to be the teacher about their own research topics.

 Lance was teaching Elias, Matthew, & Trevor how to find your pulse.  This was one of the cool facts he and Trevor learned in our body books.

 Emily was teaching Ryland, Taylor, & Jillian facts she learned from our president books.  Ryland and Taylor were counting the facts she had already shared.

Hannah was sharing with Aubrey and Victoria new facts she had learned. 

David was teaching Xavier, Elijah, & Alex some cool facts from his nonfiction books. 

Maxwell, Jackson, Benjamin, & Rufus each taught each other about their topics of snakes and transportation. 

Ella was sharing her facts about sharks with Zack & Lew.

We are now in the middle of our 2nd research topic.  The students were very excited to begin researching a new topic.  We are working on jotting notes and digging for details in our books.
