Jottings

In our nonfiction study this week, we learned about jotting down facts.  I must say we LOVE sticky notes and they are a fun place to write a fact!  The students did a great job hunting for cool facts to jot down from their books.

 Emily jots a note about the Declaration of Independence.

 Maxwell writes a note about motorcycles.

 Hannah makes a note about dolphins.

Aubrey writes about dolphins too.

I just couldn't resist snapping this photo!  I caught Trevor testing out his research while he read.  He was reading about the body and your pulse.  He was trying to find his pulse as described in the book.

Way to go to all my awesome researchers!  These students are so smart!
